May 8 and throughout May, 2011: MOTHER'S DAY PLANTING IN ANDERSON PARK: Honor your mother by donating a rose bush or shrubbery to be planted in Anderson Park, on the National Register of Historic Places. Mothers receive a certificate. Friends of Anderson Park will do the planting throughout the month, but if you would like your mother to participate on a particular day, that can be arranged.
